On Purpose Associates are trained by current and former professionals from leading companies and social enterprises. Each week, our Associates spend half a day learning and practicing the skills that will help them become effective leaders of tomorrow, be that in social enterprise, the wider social sector, the city, a corporation or the civil service.
The training covers four areas:
Professional skills: problem solving, team working and communication skills needed to excel in any working environment – delivered by professionals from top-tier graduate employers
Commercial basics: the fundamentals of how organisations work; from strategy and marketing to finance and law – delivered by specialists from prestigious organisations in each field
Social sector knowledge: what you don’t learn in the private sector, the landscape, complexities and particularities of purpose-driven organisations – delivered by those who have been there and done it
